There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.

Default This is disturbing. Hikers with dogs beware.

Give me a mile of trail and I can show you the forest. Give me a mile of runway and I can show you the world.

Wow. I dislike dogs on the trail, but man - that is beyond sick.

I have 'earned' much dislike to dogs on the trail, but this is a terrorist mind set, wrong way to handle dogs when its more often the owner. Evil mentality, leaving me with 'what else' this person/persons have done elsewhere, or what they're contemplating next.

I wonder how many woodland critters have already discovered these "treats".

I have known a few dog owners that have trained their dogs to only eat what is in their bowl or get an okay to eat anything from anyone but the owner. Poison baits are used on occasion to deal with various predators.

This is exceptionally disturbing for several reasons. Deliberately trying to maim and kill a dog in this manner is criminal and he or she should be locked up not only for what they attempted to do but also to protect society as he or she has a greater than 20% chance of being or becoming a serial killer.
And, no telling what else this person has done to water supplies or maybe even booby trapped parts of the trail.
